An article published on gatgetbridge.com reported that Google has announced that they will be unveiling their new products on October 9 in New York City. Expected to be launched are the latest iteration of the company’s flagship smartphones called the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL variation.
The invites sent out didn’t specifically state that it would take place in New York City or what products will be unveiled. But, in true Google fashion, they nevertheless revealed these details through a GIF that showed “I <3 NY.”
Google’s latest smartphones have many new features that can put them on par with the competition or even place them above a lot of other similar devices on the market. The Pixel 3 has a 5.5-inch display screen and boasts a powerful processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. It also comes with a beefy 2,915mAh battery.
The XL version, for its part, will be the one to have a plethora of changes and features that make it the more special model. For one, it will have a glass back panel that gives it the capability for wireless charging. It will also have a massive 6.7-inch QHD+ display and an even bigger 3,430mAh battery. The XL will have the same processor as its smaller sibling. The two smartphones will run on Android 9.0 Pie
The Pixel 3s are not the only centerpiece of Google’s October event. There are other devices that are also reportedly going to be showcased, such as the Google Pixelbook 2. It is said to come with a fingerprint sensor, a new 4k display, and improved internals. While the Pixelbook 2’s appearance in the event has not been set in stone, it won’t come as a surprise if it does, as industry experts believe it is high time a new version of the Pixelbook is released.
Another product expected to make an appearance at the event are the new generation Pixel buds. There are no details about the new features of these earphones, but users are excited to see what Google has in store, especially since the previous model proved to be a great product.
