Ireland has been slowly increasing their reputation in the technology sector by embracing new aspects of technology into their everyday lives. They have become a sort of the hub of science and research within Europe and one of the few that has fully taken everything that next-gen technology has to offer. Meanwhile, an IT company tries to address the issue that comes out with regard to the lack of jobs due to the number of positions being filled quite quickly by competent individuals
Logicalis Ireland, one of the largest IT solutions and managed services provider, has just announced that they plan to create more than 25 new jobs over the course of the next two years. According to an article published by the Irish Examiner, the company plans to invest at around €1M to create more job opportunities across different locations all over Ireland, including that of its current headquarters in Sandyford, Dublin.
The company is trying to revamp its image and is giving more chances and opportunities for people to come work for them, boasting an advanced IT service management platform, as well as quality service to be provided for the consumers around the country.
This new initiative is set to further enhance their technical support capabilities, and to better their relationship with different clients like the Musgrave Group and the Allied Irish Banks (AIB) and may indeed bring new avenues of business for both the company and the IT sector in Ireland in general. This might put pressure on other European countries to step up with regards to this sector to better compete with Ireland.
Hopefully, this will push the country into greater heights, and as the current Director of Logicalis Ireland, Andrew Baird, states “We are delighted to be doubling our investment in cutting-edge technologies and adding to the service team. Growth and change are vital to every organization, and these additions will allow us to better support our growing customer base throughout Ireland.”
