Japanese corporation Sony recently launched a new range of noise cancellation headphones in India sold at a starting price of Rs. 14,990.
The new wireless headphone lineup is made up of four different models -- WH-1000XM2, WH-H900N, WF-1000X, and WI-1000X. Their prices are Rs. 29,990, Rs. 18,990, Rs. 14,990, and Rs 21,990 respectively. Three of these models have been previously introduced in the electronic trade show event IFA 2017, competing against Apple’s AirPods.
All three headphones are available in a black color variant, but the WH-1000MX2 comes in gold, as well. The WF-1000X and WH-1000MX2 are both designed with an atmospheric pressure feature that optimizes its noise cancellation performance.
With regard to its battery life, the WH-1000MX2 headphone can last for up to 40 hours, whether the user opts for 30 hours' wireless use or audio cable use. It also has a quick charge option that pumps 70 minutes of battery life in just a short span of 10 minutes, as reported by New Delhi news.
Sony takes pride in the WH-H900N and WH-1000XM2 headphones because they are built with a Quick Attention Mode, a function that turns down a call sound, ringtone, and music for an ambient sound to be easily heard. For travelers, it controls listening experience while on the go, as stated by Sony.
The Sony headphones will be available in all Sony electronic stores and centers in India.
